We chose Freedom Villa as the perfect place to celebrate with our family of 8 adults and 4 grandchildren. It was amazing. Every bedroom was huge, with Super King Sized Beds. Immaculately decorated, and spotlessly clean. Everything provided-hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, large fluffy towels. The list just on. The pool was beautiful and the kids aged 6,3 & 8 months had a ball. The meals were so delicious. Breakfast (which is included) was beyond belief. The meals which we chose for lunch & dinner ( all cooked with love by Okky -chef) were so delicious it was exciting to sit down to dinner every night. Even the grandchildren loved every meal, which Okky especially prepared for them. The staff were friendly, efficient, loving to the children . Nothing was to much trouble for Robert, the owner. I’m not one for doing many reviews but after staying at the Freedom Villa for 10 days this summer, i felt obliged to just say how wonderful the place is. Simply put….AMAZING. The trip was for a family wedding and as we were would be celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary while away, we wanted something that was a bit special, a bit different, a bit….well WOW. Many hours were spent researching various villas but Freedom Villa jumped out each time mainly due to the amazing pictures and reviews. It did not disappoint on arriving. It’s rare to arrive at a destination that actually looks BETTER than the pictures but it’s obvious that Robert, the villa owner, has spent time and money to keep the villa fresh and looking like new. Starting with the location, not knowing Seminyak prior to our visit, we trusted the reviews and villa description that it was well placed to be near restaurants, shops and the beach. It did not disappoint with everything we needed being within a 5-10 minute walk yet away from the hustle and bustle of the main road so you were not disturbed when chilling around the pool. The villa itself, as already mentioned, is somehow better than the pictures. It was obvious from both being there and talking to Robert that a lot of time (and money!) had been spent to build this to meet and go beyond expectations you would have of a high class villa. Incredibly clean, it’s been built with the idea of socialising and with the fantastic pool and bar at your call all day long, it’s easy to see why we struggled to leave the villa for our stay. My three boys loved the pool, made even more fun by the provision of inflatables for them to play with and many hours were spent jumping in and splashing about by us all. I could go on much more but i won’t spoil it for everyone although as bit of a fitness fanatic, the gym is worth a mention as it is more than adequate for those who want to try and put up a fight against an increasing waist line due to the amazing meals cooked by Okie the resident Chef! Despite this wax lyrical of the villa, what actually makes the whole stay special are the staff. Okie the Chef will cook you the most amazing food that will leave you not wanting to visit the restaurants. Why bother when you have first class food on your doorstep! He pleased the boys daily with fresh waffles, pancakes and even handmade donuts for breakfast! As fitness fans, he also worked his magic on producing healthy option dinners although his handmade desserts made that gym visit a necessity! Along with Okie you have Kadek, Didi, Dita, Arias, Putu and the security guys who are there for anything you need. They were great with the boys and by the end of the trip they all felt part of the family! Nothing is too much for them and they were always happy to help. I really can’t say enough about them. Before i finish, i want to mention the owner Robert. From my initial email to him he was welcoming and incredibly helpful (even when one mail turned into 30!). He arranged a surprise birthday cake for my wife and treated the boys to ice-cream whenever he popped by. Pre arrival he went out of his way to purchase some swimming aids for my boys after i asked if they had any. He obviously cares how you enjoy your stay and will do anything to ensure it is the best it can be. It was great talking to him about how he built the villa and it was obvious that he is very proud of it. Finally, it’s worth noting that Freedom Villa won a variety of awards at the prestigious Luxury Hotel Awards for 2017 and it is nominated again for this years. It’s obvious to see why. we stayed at Freedom villas in June 2018 for my wife’s “significant” birthday and took the entire family, children, grandchildren etc. I didnt know what to expect as the other villas we had stayed in were all part of hotels so they were just very nice accommodation. We were totally unprepared for the level of exceptional service along with the very high “lux” level of the villa itself. We had ordered a BBQ for our first night as everyone arrived at different flights. WOW. BBQ is such an understatement of what we received. A full smorgasbord of BBQ foods and rices, just superb. Next night was our daughters birthday and our amazing chef cooked a feast of whole fish, chicken and curries, just wonderful and finished with beautiful cakes. The food was just amazing the whole 7 days. The staff just appeared and disappeared, I called them “Ninja’s” as you never noticed them, dishes would just miraculously disappear. Different table setting every night, all colour coordinated. The villa itself was wonderful, enough space for everyone to find a “hidy” hole for privacy. Pool was superb and big enough for all of us. We had a “littlee” so we hired pool fencing which did the job. Location was good but a little further from the beach for us lazier ones but only a 10 minute walk, it wasn’t difficult. and I’m being picky. Cant believe this gem is hidden away behind the walls of this laneway and is just spectacular. For anyone to be disspoainted from staying here must have a rockstar expectation and even most stars would love the privacy and luxury this villa afforded. Book it!! MOV – 18/07/18

Sometimes you write reviews and give 5 stars because you want other travelers to benefit from your own experience. I was very tempted to give a bad review just so we could keep this place a secret and enjoy it ourselves again in the future. That, however would be an injustice to Robert and his fantastic staff who made this trip to Bali (our 5th), the most special yet. From our warm welcome and 1st night BBQ banquet (which was great value and deliciously prepared by Oky), to the daily breakfasts, absolutely stunning venue, close walks to Sarong, Merah Putih, Revolver,the W, Bali catering company etc etc.
Bodyworks was a 10 minute walk.
5 huge bedrooms, the magnificent pool and lounging area made it difficult to even leave the villa. The resounding resolution from our 2 families was that if we ever get back to Seminyak then Freedom Villa it is!

Walking distance to body works ,La Lucciola,Mexicola and lots more great eating places.From the moment we arrived at the villa we were amazed it was even better than the pictures on website stunning.Staff treated you like family couldn’t do enough for you from changing money ,getting anything you required,bedrooms and bathrooms were 5 star plus .Chef on hand to cook fantastic meals as required with huge gourmet breakfast complimentary daily.If considering booking a villa don’t look any further Villa Freedom is a must .
